Automatic article numbers for products

Hello,

I understood that product article numbers should be created automatically if the field ist set to read-only or left blank.

When I use the current docker system and the web client and go to “new product”, enter a name and a category, the product is not saved (article number ist still underlined in blue). How to proceed?

Hi,

you can switch the numbering to automatic by following these steps:

That requires the Java Client to access the Backend.
